TGIF

Finally, an end to the week.

Actually this was a good week for us. First we got Sophie. Today she went back to Liberty to get her wing checked. She finally got her bandage off but still needs a week of indoor confinement before I can try to let her outside. She is dragging the wing now so that worries me. But, I have hope that she will recover, shes a tough bird.

Second we went to a Suns game on Wednesday. It was our 3rd game and most likely the last before the season ends. We can in no way afford play off tickets. We had a great time at the game. I was sporting my new suns t-shirt and foam finger. Brian even got into the spirit and wore an orange shirt. The game was close the whole way through until the end when we pulled ahead. The Suns played like shit but they won and thats all the matters to me. If they win you get free large fries at McDonalds. However, we banned that place so it serves no good to us. You also get free tacos at Jack in the Box if they score over 99 points. We don't eat that either. Oh well.

And Third and best of all, we had dinner with Mala and Stuart last night. He is here for business and Mala is here for a mini vacation. We met up in Scottsdale at Grimaldi's . Its a pizza place that did not let us eat for free even though we have the same last name...Hello.
It was great to see them, it had been quite a while since we had hung out. It was so nice to go out with friends, we don't do that often. We had lots to chat about and after dinner they came by to check out the crib. Now they are off gallivanting about Arizona, glad to not be freezing in Pittsburgh.

We are going cachaking this weekend. There are some caches at a nearby lake so we thought it would fun to kayak around and get the caches. There are even a few on some of the islands. We might camp as well, but its been very windy here so it might not happen.
