Happy belated Halloween. Hope you all had lots of bratty kids come to your home and get some candy. Being so new to this neighborhood we didn't know what to expect as far as turn out goes. We live in a decent size neighborhood but we don't have any neighborhoods around us, just land getting ready to built on.
We bought candy, not a ton, but what we thought would be enough. At our townhouse in Maryland we got maybe 20-50 kids, it was a boring night there.
As usual I decorated the house on the outside and got ready for the kids. They started shortly after 6 and just kept coming. We ran out of candy a little after 7. We suck. So off we ran to the store a mile away to get more. Our neighborhood was packed with cars, parents and kids. Where did all these people come from? So we loaded back up, got home, and turned all the lights back on. We noticed that a lot of the neighbors were sitting outside handing out candy. Good idea, its warm out, no need to hide inside. So once we got back in business we sat out on the driveway and gave almost all the new candy away.
We packed up shop around 8:30. Next year we will be better prepared with candy out the ass.
Oh and before I go, just a reminder that you are now 2 hours ahead us. You lost an hour this weekend but we did not, we don't change our clocks, not ever, and its glorious.

did you guys move to arizona so nina wouldn't miss an hour of insulin in the spring and fall?
you suck Seth!
Seth, you have it all wrong. She got an extra hour of insulin in the fall and missed an hour of insulin in the spring. Now she gets all the right amount.
