Everyone has celebrities in the town they live in. We are lucky to have such celebs as Alice Cooper, Leslie Nielson, Stevie Nicks, and Jenna Jameson. Some of our celebs here in the valley whore themselves out to local businesses so their faces are on my tv in a commercial. Some celebs own businesses like restaurants and strip clubs. We have a celeb here that when we heard he lived here, we both went "god we are so lucky to have him around". This celeb has been making news around the valley like this article.

MIKE TYSON: PERMIT TROUBLE AT CHEZ TYSON

PHOENIX (AP) _ Some construction at Mike Tyson's new digs in Paradise, Valley Arizona, is on hold. Officials say he needs a permit to build a purported pigeon coop in the back yard. Tyson has said he owns 350 pigeons. Inspectors were sent to the house after a neighbor questioned the construction. The town's code compliance officer said there wasn't a permit for building “the accessory structure'' so the town issued an order to stop building it. He says Tyson or a representative will have to get the necessary paperwork within the next two weeks to get a permit before work can continue. He says the town doesn't limit the number of birds a homeowner can have, but birds have to be contained on the property and can't create a public nuisance for neighbors. Tyson recently bought a house on the exclusive Mummy Mountain for more than $2 million.

Mike Tyson sues PV over sewage flood

Sept. 25, 2006 05:28 PM Boxer Mike Tyson is duking it out with Paradise Valley over a sewer line backup that damaged his multimillion-dollar home on Mummy Mountain. Now he's putting the bite on the town for $250,000. The Paradise Valley Town Council will be briefed on Tyson's notice of claim for monetary damages in a closed-door meeting Thursday. His garage was flooded in late February by a sewer system backup caused by tree roots in the line, according to State Farm Insurance. The company, which insured Tyson's home, denied his water-damage claim based on its findings. Tyson alleges the town was negligent, which the town denies. The damage would have been avoided had Paradise Valley properly inspected and maintained the sewer system, according to his claim.

What a weirdo. Bet you don't have such awesome celebs in your town and I bet they don't have 350 pigeons.
