A Disappointing Day

The last post wasn't all that truthful. Friday was a pretty boring day full of grocery shopping and whatnot. However, while putting away groceries Tux got under my feet and I went down like a pile a bricks. I landed on one knee, hard. After yelling for about 2 minutes I caught my breath and laid there for a while, the pain was intense. Brian kept asking if I wanted to go to the hospital, but I am tough and said no. So Brian ended up putting away the groceries while I sat and iced my knee. In the end it was fine, a little sore. We went to the Mad Caddies show at a very small club in a strip mall in Tempe. It was a great show and we had a good time (no pogoing for me though).

Today (Sat) we went to a little town about 30 minutes southeast of here, Queen Creek. It was like taking a drive in the country. Its farmy but slowly becoming developed with homes. We wanted to check out the peach farm and the olive mill. Well both were very disappointing. The peach farm bit, but we did get to go on a hay ride. It was really windy today so dust was blowing and it was in our eyes and in our mouth, it sucked. Then we went to the olive mill. Again what a disappointment. I read about this place and it sounded like a great place to take visitors. However they are closed after Monday until October. So all they had was a little shop with some goodies for sale. I think in the fall there is tasting and tours and tables to sit and enjoy wine and breads. We will see. So here's the photos from the peach farm.
